If former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett were running against current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he would most likely win and would have several options for forming a coalition.
Bennett would receive 21 seats compared to Netanyahu’s 19, with Opposition parties Yesh Atid and National Unity receiving 11 and 13, respectively, and the left-wing Democrats party receiving 11.
The Ultra-Orthodox Shas party would get 10 seats, Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu party would garner 10 seats, Ultra-Orthodox United Torah Judaism would receive 8 seats, Ben Gvir’s Otzma party would get 7 seats, and the Arab parties Hadash, Tal and Ram would each get 5.
The current government coalition would get 44 seats and Bennett plus the opposition parties would receive 71.
Of those who would serve as Prime Minister, only Bennett would beat Netanyahu, with 39% of those polled saying Bennett is more suitable compared to 31% for Netanyahu.
