A spate of serious antisemitic incidents occurred in Toronto, including graffiti in several Jewish sites and the burning of a school bus.
Toronto police responded to the suspected arson attack on the school bus parked in a Jewish neighborhood.
The bus was gutted by fire, and the engine was severely damaged, making it unusable.
In addition, a Jewish community center and a kosher store were defaced with anti-Israel graffiti.
Melissa Lantsman of the United Jewish Appeal (UJA) of Toronto wrote on X “Targeting Jews because of the Middle East is pure antisemitism and only makes us more determined to stand up for our beliefs.”
