Israeli security forces thwarted a plot to kidnap Israelis in Jericho.
The terror suspects, Mohammad Tariq, 19, and Amin Kattash, 20 and others were arrested at the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp near Jericho.
Shin Bet learned after questioning the suspects that they had secured weapons, recruited terrorists, and began making plans to kidnap Israelis and keep them in a pit. They also planned bombing campaigns.
Security forces discovered the pit as well as the weapons stockpile described by the terrorist during the interrogation.
In addition, they seized a suicide vest, communication equipment, a machine gun, and explosive devices.
