On Sunday, 18 soldiers were wounded, one seriously, after a suicide Hezbollah drone attacked Israeli territory near a kibbutz close to the Golan Heights.
The IDF reported on Sunday afternoon “aerial targets” were invading Israel, with UAV wounding troops near Kibbutz Merom Golan.
A number of the wounded were airlifted to a Haifa’s Rambam hospital, and one was declared to be in serious condition.
Since Hamas invaded Israel on October 7th, Hezbollah on the northern border has been firing missiles at Israeli targets almost daily.
These strikes have killed 20 and caused extensive damage through setting off wildfires.
Recently, attacks and rhetoric have heated up between Israel and Lebanon amid talk of the possibility of a Third Lebanon War breaking out.
