Hassan Nasrallah, who believed himself invincible, has become worm food. In Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, authorities are still assessing the damage, while efforts to rescue additional casualties from the rubble—mostly Hezbollah operatives—are ongoing.

In Iran, the country’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, responded with a series of tweets. He announced five days of mourning in the country, which sparked a flood of responses across his various accounts, most of them critical.

“Why not declare a whole year? There are still a few names left on the list (including yours),” tweeted Udi David Ben-David (@Udi_Ben_David) on September 28, 2024.

Additionally, Israeli security forces are celebrating the great achievement of Nasrallah’s elimination and remain on high alert across all fronts, preparing for potential rocket fire.

Impact on Hezbollah’s Military Capabilities: IDF Strikes Manufacturing Sites and Smuggling Routes Along the Syria-Lebanon Border

For years, Hezbollah has systematically worked to bolster its arsenal of weaponry. As part of this effort, arms and components are transported from the east into Lebanon, where they are brought to manufacturing sites. These facilities produce a range of weapons, including precision missiles designed to strike Israel.

Thanks to accurate intelligence from the IDF, last night’s strikes hit critical Hezbollah production sites, including a rocket and missile launcher assembly facility in southern Lebanon and another site in the Beqaa Valley intended for Hezbollah’s buildup project.

This follows earlier strikes on Thursday targeting smuggling routes used to transfer weapons from Syria to Lebanon. The IDF continues its operations with force, weakening Hezbollah’s capabilities that threaten Israel’s civilians and the entire region.

Nasrallah Not Alone—Another Senior Hezbollah Leader Killed During the Sabbath

In the Dahiya neighborhood of Beirut, the IDF eliminated Hassan Khalil Yassin, a senior operative in Hezbollah’s intelligence division. Yassin headed the department responsible for identifying military and civilian targets on the frontlines and deep within Israeli territory.

In his role, Yassin worked closely with all Hezbollah’s artillery units and was personally involved in planning terrorist operations carried out against Israeli soldiers and civilians since the war began, with more attacks planned in the coming days.
