IDF Recovers Body of Soldier.
The Israel Defense Forces announced on Wednesday that the body of an Israeli soldier, who was killed and abducted by Hamas on October 7, was recovered from the southern Gaza Strip overnight.
Additionally, the military reported that two soldiers were killed in recent fighting in Gaza.
At the family’s request, the name of the recovered soldier has not yet been released.
The IDF stated that it had spent months locating the soldier’s body. According to a military source, information on the location was partly obtained through a Shin Bet interrogation of a Gazan terror suspect.
