Rescued Bedouin Hostage Reported Israeli Captive Died in Gaza
The former mayor of Rahat reported that Farhan al-Qadi, a recently rescued hostage, told him that a fellow captive died beside him in Gaza. This information emerged as details of al-Qadi’s over 10 months in Hamas captivity began to surface following his rescue by Israeli special forces on Tuesday.
The Israel Defense Forces and the Hostage Families Forum have not yet commented on this information. Ata Abu Madighem shared these details after meeting al-Qadi at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, as reported by Channel 12 news.
“This story is deeply affecting him. He carries many painful memories, but ultimately, he is focused on his rescue and survival.”
Abu Madighem, speaking to Kan TV, revealed that the deceased hostage was a Jewish man.
