Israel Military Begins Counter-Terrorism Operation in Samaria
Overnight Tuesday, the Israel Defense Forces conducted a large-scale counterterrorism operation in the Jenin and Tulkarem areas of northern Samaria, deploying hundreds of troops and air support.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that at least 11 Palestinians were killed in the operation. This includes two individuals who died in clashes with IDF troops in Jenin, three who were killed in a drone strike on a nearby village, and four more who were killed in a drone strike on the Far’a camp in Tubas.
Israel’s Channel 12 identified two of the deceased as Kassam Jabarin, 25, and Atsam Belot, 39.
Several Palestinian suspects have been arrested, and the operation is expected to continue for several days.
