A soldier was killed by anti-tank fire in Rafah on Thursday.
The soldier was identified as Sgt. Ori Ashkenazi Nechemya, 19, of the 401st Armored Brigade’s 46th Battalion, from Ashkelon.
The newest casualty brought the total IDF number to 336.
The IDF announced that 50 terrorists were killed by the 162nd Division in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah.
A group of soldiers spotted some terrorists coming forward and ordered a drone strike to neutralize the threat.
The 98th Division in Deir al-Balah, battled terrorists and dismantled Hamas infrastructure in the area.
