In an overnight operation on Monday and Tuesday, The IDF recovered the remains of 6 hostages taken to Gaza on October 7th.
All of them were alive at the time of their captivity, but 5 were known to have died before their remains were recovered.
The names of the deceased hostages are Alex Dancyg, 75, Yagev Buchshtav, 35, Chaim Peri, 79, Yoram Metzger, 80, Nadav Popplewell, 51, and Avraham Munder, 78.
Dancyg and Buchshtav were confirmed dead in July, and Peri, Metzger, and Popplewell were declared dead in June.
Munder had been thought to have possibly been alive until Tuesday.
The IDF recovered the bodies in an overnight operation in Khan Younis.
