An advisor to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace Division died of wounds sustained during an airstrike, probably a few weeks ago.
The Fars news agency reports, “Colonel Ahmadreza Afshari was martyred due to injuries sustained from aerial bombardment from the coalition violating Syria.”
It isn’t known when the airstrike occurred, but it was most likely late July or early August.
The news agency reports that Afshari was transferred to Iran at some point during his medical treatment.
Syrian news reported that four were injured by an Israeli airstrike close to the Syrain city of Homs.
