Hezbollah launched drones into northern Israel on Sunday after the killing of a Hamas leader in Sidon.
The drones were aimed at the Michve Alon military base near Maghar, a training base for IDF education and youth corps.
On Saturday, a joint operation by the IDF and Shin Bet killed Samer al-Hajj, a senior Hamas commander in Sidon. His bodyguard was injured in the strike and is in critical condition.
A joint statement by the IDF and Shin Bet said al-Hajj was involved in “advancing terror attacks and projectile launches from Lebanon toward Israeli territory.”
Al-Hajj recruited and trained terrorists from the Ein el-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp.
