The United Kingdom’s CST, Community Security Trust, reports there were 2,000 reported antisemitic incidents in between January and June 2024, with 120 of these physical assaults.
The number of antisemitic incidents in the UK during the first half of 2024 broke all prior records.
In the first 6 months of 2023, there were 964 reported antisemitic incidents compared to 1,978 during the same period in 2024. The next-highest recorded period of antisemitic incidents was 1,371 in 2021.
“As documented in CST’s Antisemitic Incidents Report 2023, there was an instant increase in antisemitic incident levels in the UK following Hamas’ attack on Israel, before Israel had coordinated any large-scale military response in Gaza,” the CST report stated
