Iran and Pakistan called an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Saudi Arabia on Monday, which included eight foreign ministers.
Pakistan, the only Muslim country to possess nuclear weapons, declared it would be willing to supply Iran with Shaheen-III medium-range ballistic missiles to use against the Jewish State.
Sergei Shoigu, a senior ally of Putin, met with the new Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian, to strengthen ties between the two countries.
The two also agreed to transferring Russian-made Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets, air defense systems, and radar systems to Iran.
We are ready to cooperate fully with Iran in various areas,” Shoigu said.
Iranian officials report that the shipments from Russia are already arriving.
