Although there were some countries that sought to bar Israel from the Paris 2024 Olympics, the global event has proven historic for the Jewish State after the most medal wins of any Olympics and a new record of three in a single day.
So far, Israel has won 6 medals, compared to the 4 it won in Tokyo in 2021.
In addition, Israel won 3 in a single day. On Saturday, Tom Reyveny wont a Gold in men’s iQFoil windsurfing final, Sharon Kantor took silver in women’s windsurfing and Artem Dolgopyat took silver in artistic gymnastics.
“I did it for our brave soldiers,” Reuveny told Channel 12 after taking the gold.
