Mossad Hired Agents Planted Explosives to Kill Haniyeh in May

Contrary to Iranian and Hamas claims that an aerial strike killed Haniyeh, multiple reports indicate that the Hamas leader was killed by explosives planted by IRGC agents recruited by the Mossad.

The Telegraph reports an account by an IRGC official that the Mossad recruited at least two agents within the terror organization to plant explosives inside a guest house where Ismail Haniyeh was staying in May to attend the funeral of previous Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi.

However, given the number of people in the building, the assassination was delayed for another occasion Haniyeh was staying there.

On Wednesday, Haniyeh was killed when the agents who planted the explosives detonated them outside of Iran. However, it’s thought there is still at least one person still within IRGC who coordinated with them.

Esmail Qaani, the commander of the IRGC Quds force, is conducting an investigation and is identifying people to be fired, jailed, or executed for the breach.

The official said, “The breach has humiliated everyone.”

“The Supreme Leader has summoned all the commanders several times over the past two days; he wants answers,” he added.
The official concluded, “For him, addressing the security breach is now more important than seeking revenge.”
