Budget Irish airline Ryanair announced it is adding 16 routes from Israel starting in October.
Cities Ryanair will fly passengers to from Ben Gurion airport are: Bologna, Rome, Naples, Turin, Venice, Memmingen (Germany), Baden-Baden, Brussels, Krakow, Poznan, Warsaw, Marseille, Vienna, Sofia, Vilnius and Thessaloniki.
These are in addition to the destination the airline currently flies from Israel: Malta, Paphos, Budapest, Bucharest, Milan, Bari, Athens, and Berlin.
These offering are likely to increase competition and lower prices to these destinations.
Ryanair restarted its flights to Israel in June after putting them on hold in February. The airline said the reason for resuming flights was the re-opening of Terminal One in Ben Gurion.
