The Iran-backed terror group fired a rocket on a soccer field in a Druze town in the Golan Heights, killing 12 children and wounding 38 others.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cut his trip to Washington short to meet with the War Cabinet to decide how to respond.

Israeli Defense Minister said that Hezbollah would “pay the price” for the deadly attack.

Although Hezbollah has denied it fired the rocket, the IDF and US intelligence has shown that the terror group was responsible.

Sources say that although the retaliation is expected to be decisive, it will be targeted to prevent escalation into all-out war.

Lebanese media reports on Sunday indicated there were Israeli airstrikes near the southern Lebanon towns of Houla and Markaba.
