A Muslim Canadian citizen attempted to stab a security guard on Israel’s border with Gaza Monday morning, Ynet reports.
The attempted attack, which occurred in Moshav Netiv HaAsara, was stopped when the security guards shot and killed the terrorist.
The IDF confirmed that the attacker “is a foreign citizen who came to the scene from Israel and not from the Gaza Strip.”
He drove up in a vehicle, got out, and yelled, “The IDF is killing civilians in Gaza,” then attacked the security guards with a knife before they neutralized him.
There were no injuries, although a 61-year-old woman on the scene was treated for anxiety.
