The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated a terrorist who shot and killed IDF Major Tal Lahat.
An IDF aircraft killed 20 terrorists from the Shati Battalion, including from Nakbah, the unit responsible for the October 7th massacre.
In the attack, Muhammad Abu Hatab, a platoon commander in the Shati Battalion and sniper who killed Tal Lahat, was eliminated.
Hatab carried out many sniper attacks against IDF forces. At the same time, they were involved in destroying Hamas infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, including those that were embedded within UNRWA headquarters in Gaza City.
Also killed in the operation was Nukhba terrorist Ismail Shachka, who took part in the massacre carried out by Hamas on October 7.
