On Tuesday, two people were killed after their car was hit directly with one of 40 rockets Hezbollah fired at Nafah Junction in the Golan Heights.
Police, bomb disposal workers, and firefighters were on the scene.
Before the terror group’s launch of 40 rockets, they posted detailed videos showing sensitive IDF positions on the Golan Heights.
Hezbollah fired the rockets following the killing of Yasir Nimr Qaranbash, the former bodyguard of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
Qaranbash was killed on the Beirut-Damascus highway while riding in a vehicle with another passenger who was also killed but not yet identified.
Concerning Hezbollah, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that a potential ceasefire with Gaza will not apply to Hezbollah.
“Even if we reach an agreement for a hostage deal, and I very much hope that we will be able to achieve it—it does not bind us regarding what happens here [on the northern border],” he said.
“If there is a ceasefire there [in the south], here [in the north] we will continue fighting and doing everything necessary to bring about the desired result [of returning home tens of thousands of Israeli evacuees],” added the defense minister.
