When comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica Sklar visited Be’eri, one of the communities devastated on October 7th, he told Bari Weiss that it was “the most powerful experience of my life, I am sure.”
In the initial weeks following the devastating event, mainly politicians and diplomats viewed the remains of the kibbutzim. Still, more recently, others are making the journey to bear witness to the October 7th massacres.
Many private tour guides take visitors to sites crucial to the story of October 7th, including Be’eri, Kfar Azza, Reim site of the Nova Music Festival massacre, the Kingfisher shelter, and the Ofakim police station that Hamas took over.
Many of these visitors feel they are bearing witness to Hamas atrocities against Israelis on October 7th, 2023.
