US envoy Amos Hochstein is meeting in France with envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian in an attempt to broker a diplomatic solution to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
Since October 7th, Hezbollah has fired rockets almost daily into Israel, in many cases starting damaging wildfires.
Hochstein has made several trips to Israel, most recently last month, to negotiate a solution between Israel and Lebanon.
In meeting with Le Drian, Hochstein said a diplomatic solution is “achievable and urgent.”
In the past 8 months, 10 Israeli civilians and 15 soldiers and reservists have been killed by Hezbollah missiles.
