Abraham Marley, grandson of legendary reggae singer Bob Marley, celebrated his bar mitzvah last week.
Abraham’s parents are Ziggy Marley, a Rastafarian and Orly Agai Marley, an Israeli of Persian Jewish descent
Rastafarianism is considered Abrahamic religion with many ideas adapted from the Torah.
On his son’s bar mitzvah, Ziggy Marley posted, “I share this photo of Abraham and I from his celebration of becoming a man according to the ancient tradition he has reached that age of responsibility and change.”
Shortly after October 7th, Ziggy Marley signed a letter supporting Israel and posted a meme on social media that said, “Free Gaza from Hamas.”
