They responded that since there is a case against Israel in the International Court of Justice, it is important to prevent criticism aimed at Israel from a humanitarian standpoint.
Nationalistic political figures responded that no army fighting a just war has been expected to go to such lengths to provide for civilians, nor should it, given that Hamas is embedded in Gaza’s civilian population
