Israel’s military is beginning a project to establish humanitarian enclaves or “bubbles” for non-Hamas affiliated Palestinians, as reported by the Financial Times.
The project will begin in northern Gazan areas of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia and may provide a transition to Gaza’s post-Hamas governance.
The approved Palestinians would take responsibility for food distribution to other civilians and may eventually assume administrative duties
Under the plan, Israeli forces would remain to ensure security.
