Hostage Families Condemn Release of Terrorist Director of Gaza Hospital

Families of hostages belonging to the Tikva Forum strongly criticized the decision to release the Hamas terrorist director of Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

Early in the war, the IDF completed a mission in Shifa Hospital to combat terrorists who were embedded there, along with significant Hamas infrastructure.

The Tikva Forum, comprised of hostage families who seek a military solution to release Israeli captives, responded to the decision with a statement.

“While our loved ones have been held captive by Hamas for many months, Israel released the main murderer and Hamas assistant, the director of Shifa Hospital,” it said.

“He is the one under whose management the hospital became a home for terrorists; he is the one who hid Hamas terrorist nests, including weapons and bunkers, where Israeli hostages were also murdered in front of his eyes,” the statement continued.

The families said Israel should have held onto the Shifa Hospital director and used his release as leverage to free hostages rather than committing the “moral disgrace” of releasing him without further penalty.
